Current Recipients
Scholarship Awards
San Francisco–Peninsula Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is committed to improving the quality of education for youth living in our San Francisco – Peninsula communities. One of the key components of our educational development program is that of providing monetary scholarships for students that would permit them to acquire a bachelor degree. The annual scholarship supports two full semesters or three quarters of academic work and is renewable up to a total of four years. Funds are awarded annually after the student meets our scholarship criteria.

One of our goals is to encourage and support promising students, both young women and men, with their aspirations for attaining higher education. Scholarship recipients are therefore provided educational and emotional support throughout the four-year period that they are eligible for the scholarship award.

We awarded $10,000 in scholarship funds last year. Thank you to our golfers, ad donors, and other generous patrons for your support. Without it, we would not be able to provide the much needed college scholarships and book awards to deserving young scholars.
